Doesn't this just mean that its name was "Kamunagi-san"?

Either it's figurative (a shrine of no particular renown, i.e. a "no-name" shrine, if you will) or "Kamunagi" is an etymological relative of "Kannagi" and it's the equivalent of e.g. calling the local clinic "Doc's."

I allows thought of the divide between them to be more in terms of personality. I think they both were near equals in life. But now I think Dara-san has within her the "grudge" of her sister and her skills (plus her own skills plus the Yamagati Madara skills)
