Sadly no epilogue. I don't think this was a bad ending from a narrative standpoint. If there had been a little foreshadowing that she needed to be purified more often, or that the half of the curse he had taken into himself was causing him problems or destroying stuff around him to foreshadow that her curse was making the world fall apart it would've been better. Also I'll agree with the assessment that this last chapter should've been 4. I'm subtly disappointed but not unsatisfied. The fact that he loved her and would totally sacrifice himself for her without even thinking was super telegraphed at least.
