Western vtuber fans just cope by pretending that everyone is gayI'm not familiar with vtuber and my experience are just through some clips... I thought people treated them like idol. Yet everyone seems very chill about all this...?
we gotta find a wife for our single father of 2.you also have vedal, who has shippers in every direction
liesgamers are all like that
You know it's fantasy because the fans aren't having a meltdown when a m*le starts hitting on their oshi and trying to meet up irl
Don't really know the JP part of VTubing, but as Dao here say, it's probably because of the "for the bit", seeing as it's funny him being super nice to someone, though it be funny if they beg their oshi's not to go to the demon lair cause he got amulet that charms any herorine that approach him.I'm thinking the lack of reaction stems a lot from the viewers experience of seeing anija and lil sis interacting and how he generally doesnt really involve himself with the whole vtuber scene thing. he knows the lil sis stood her up for 24hr and its almost like he is in "apologetic parent of misbehaving child" mode aha

Most of the time, its the corpo vtubers that have to act like idols due to contracts.I'm not familiar with vtuber and my experience are just through some clips... I thought people treated them like idol. Yet everyone seems very chill about all this...?
This is true. The best example of this case is Vspo. Just see their clips and it's mostly chilling like bantering between gaming friends. That's probably cuz their main point is good at gaming and thinking their listeners as their gaming friends so the vtubers are somewhat pretty close with their listeners. For examples to this specific cases: just see Hinano especially when he plays with kamito, everyone just somewhat bully them through chats and also always says they're teeteeIt's depends. Sometimes people do treat them like an idol, but mostly depend on what chara they were playing.
So it's not a rare sight to see listener-san bullying the liver for mistake they made.
I think those are just for the very popular vtubers. I've heard about Hololives before and theyre a pretty big deal as far as Im awareI'm not familiar with vtuber and my experience are just through some clips... I thought people treated them like idol. Yet everyone seems very chill about all this...?
