Karin doesn't have a "regurgitation skill". That's just how she chose to utilize an internal storage skill that behaves like an item box. "Item Box" or "Inventory" Skills in general are what's controversial, as a few chapters back, when it was first shown, it was dropped that storage-related skills like that where heavily regulated and those with them were all but controlled by the government to keep them from being misused.

Or something to that effect, been a couple months since that chapter.

I welcome this premonition of a Mafuyu arc. Girl deserved it and her little quip about being saved by Karin is interesting. Heck, she's willing to throw hands against the whole Japanese government if that meant keeping Karin safe, I wanna know what's up with these girls.

The JPN Gov being portrayed as not exactly being the peak of competence is rather common trope in anime ... and I admit from what I know for a good reason.
To be fair it might have worked out for the best though. He indirectly helped Karin's raise and going by the last chapter her Antics cleanly kicked the "asshole" out of him so hard he changed design style so he might not be an issue anymore.

I thought Mafuyu would be the daughter of dungeon management director or crazy rich zaibatsu that deals in magic stone. Turns out she's one of the top 3 adventurer. I'm glad the author avoided the most common trope setting

I reread this series and realized that, in chapter 13, it's probably Mafuyu who get the guild to release Karin.
And that long hair woman... That behavior toward Mafuyu is power play. To keep doing things you told them not to and then said "It's just a joke." That's ignoring your boundaries. If this happened to you IRL, go low contact or no contact when possible. For your own mental health.
