It's a real shame Nakatani is going with a straight couple for such an interesting manga, but I do love her art style, and her writing is always top tier, so I'm sure it will be fun to follow along.

Read several chapters, really pretty art, but kinda boring since there are so little dynamic in the way the author draw these. Interesting premise, but dull characters and just overall boring development really kills the mood for me. Idk why this is rated so high

I know Nakatani intended for Yutaka to be a seemingly boring main character to contrast Aru, but I think she overdid it with Yutaka and so a lot of their dynamic feels bland and lacking some substance. It may be because I've read Lucifer and Biscuit Hammer which has a similar concept but was able to establish its main pair better.

Nakatani wrote Bloom Into You so she does have a track record of being able to write good romance. But 8 chapters in, the plot has seemed meandering and major plot moments, like revealing how they met, didn't have the emotional weight that such moments should have brought, at least in my opinion.
