Baby Momoka (well, 6th grader Momoka) is giving such big Himari vibes that I can see why they clicked so quickly upon meeting one another.

Finding out that Hajime had fallen for Momoka even before any confession to her elder sister happened, though, is heart-wrenching. And yet, even after "losing" Momoka to oh-so-perfect Kyou, Hajime wasn't pushed out of their group. And Hajime taking that in stride and finding the happiness in their trio is heartening, because a lesser person would have self-destructed and "been considerate" only to build resentment.
Which would have surely broken Hajime when Kyou died. Being able to carry on with Momoka, both licking the other's wounds with gently-forced distance, worked for years; and as close as they were, even with the wall of lost loves in multiple directions...at least it was a cold peace.

I don't think Hajime will ultimately regret the finding of that letter, or the spilling of her guts to Momoka. In the moment, the pain will be immense, and the ramifications will be drastic and dire where their band is concerned and the fabric & texture of the friendships they share.
But they have friendships, with a group of girls who care about them both to a painful degree. Time will be required, and more than one difficult conversation...but I don't see Hajime and Momoka falling apart. Even without Kyou physically present to underpin the intertwining of their lives, her memory is something indelible to them both, and while she never knew Hajime's feelings, she also had wished that Momoka find happiness without her (though not intending it to be so permanent).

It's gonna suck and hurt, but I have faith they'll come out the other side intact and able to look forward.

Moving on from the people you're close with can be hard, especially if they dedicated their life to the one passed away or if they believe moving on would mean forgetting them entirely

The best Hajime can do is giving her the letter and tell her how she feel truthfully. And the best thing Momoka can do is letting go just enough to move on with her live. Preserved all she has with Kyou to keep living as Hajime and Shiho's friend, Lorelei's drummer, Himari's Senpai and rival for the SSGirls

Regarding my previous try on analyzing Momoka character: first part of the chapter I supposed they are actually trying to portray her that way (similar to Hima), but then it suddenly ticked me with this emotional art of her. Ones above look like just despair and not understanding Hajime, but this one again strucks this angry vibes, while understanding everything. It's like she knew about Hajime's feelings, thought she hated Kyou for taking Momoka away and that's why she was emotionless at the funeral.

Well that's kinda vibes I get from this specific artwork.

you make a good point the potential for Momoka to ...if not know, then have an inkling all along. Because Hajime talks about how they had that unspoken agreement between one another in this chapter, and then in ch.63 (p.42), even Momoka talks about how "no matter what feelings [they] had, [they] would would shoulder them together", and it was off the back of her getting very mad at Hajime for half-confessing that she has always had romantic feelings for Momoka.
Which puts both this flashback and that "present" moment in a whole new context. If Momoka was aware of how Hajime has felt--even if she only suspected after Kyou's death--then Hajime's confession would be a betrayal of sorts to the memory of Kyou, whom Momoka clearly cannot move past.

On the flip side....I wonder if this is an indicator that neither of them have properly grieved Kyou's passing. The stages of loss aren't rote, but the act of grieving is a part of it, in order to try and find one's way forward in life once again. If both Hajime and Momoka simply buried huge parts of their hearts out of deference and hit the pause button for years, then that's a wound that never had time to scar over and fade.

Which means this is tearing that hurt wide open, and it sucks. But it also might be a good thing, though it will be imperative that they both have a support system to hold them up and be at their side through this.
