When making it, we only see her place out the iron, but re-reading her purchase, she definitely bought the other materials, and didn't happen to pick a location that had them, even even then feels odd that she can make everything powering it, which is definitely some type of fuel and not electricity given the fire stove, but push start shouldn't work without any electricity (headlights could technically generate the needed electricity from the running motor), what kind of battery did she make?
