I appreciate the character development, hopefully the small wrenches stuck in their relationship that will inevitably be written in don't grow too frustrating.

My first thought too.
She obviously has some kind of trauma from middle school so maybe it made her unable to see people's faces or something similar and this is the first time she actually saw his face?
Sooo what does she see people as?
My bet is on blank white masks instead of faces. Just because.
EDIT: Scratch that. Greek Theatre-like masks with fake joyful expressions pasted on.
I'll be surprised if the next chapter isn't told in her PoV and culminates with the mask falling off the MC's face.

I really don’t get what Yewon’s deal is. Was she actually trying to spread rumours as some a get back, or is she just that out of touch? The way she looked, it’s hard to tell if it was calculated or if she genuinely has no awareness of how messed up that is.
And honestly, it just reinforces why Sunwoo is the way she is. Like some people have mentioned, she seems to have a similar defense mechanism to Jin-Yong—closing herself off because of past experiences. When you’ve had people be nice to your face and then talk behind your back, like we saw in that mini-flashback and now with Yewon, it makes sense why she’d struggle to trust anyone.
That's why I really like Jin-Yong standing on business and deciding to use his own discretion to determine who Sunwoo is instead of buying into baseless rumours coming from someone unstable. But what impressed me more is that he was able to quell his frustration in the moment and told them to do whatever they want since it won't change how he feels. That's shows real character and maturity to defuse the situation even when they are in the wrong.
Its that kindness and genuineness that will save Sunwoo and make her start believing in people again.

For ppl that wonder if she have something similar to MC, maybe. But only when comes to faces cuse she already saw his Body in one of the prev chapters and commented about it and thirst a bit over it So if she has it, then it affect only faces.

Yesss jinyong actually stood up for her, no stupid romcom misunderstanding bs.
Since it's basically the best guess, what I think sunwoo views other peoples faces as would be just a blur and recognizes others through voice. Nothing in particular supporting this but I imagine what she views others as would reflect her mental state which to say isn't the best. It'll probably end up being more comical but finally there's some romance progress
