I'm gonna be honest: there really wasn't any development here either. It's still cute, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't really call it a compelling narrative.

There really is this weird fixation on kissing as being the ultimate conclusion to a romance, so even in cases like here where the feelings or story get very little focus it's still lauded as being better than yuri works which have a very well developed romance which haven't gotten around to a kiss yet.

It's insane that all of this was accomplish in just 47 pages when some GL i read has 50 pages per chapter and still doesn't have this kind of development in 100 chapter.

And there are manga that get to sex in page 1, what's your point? some things are slowburn and some things are faster paced. all yuri is precious regardless of where the characters are in their relationship
