Yep, it's easy to root for Fumi now but we haven't gotten Sakura's pov, unless the story ends soon I have a bad feeling Sakura will find her way back to Shinobu.

I dont see many romance when the ML and FL don't always end up together even in the dumbest situations

For now Shinobu is still in the shock/denial state to me so he's not thinking about what he can do and author wants to instill the Fumi possibility for readers to make some of them happy.

I’m happy that Shinobu chose to move on from Sakura instead of fighting Ikeman or trying to ‘Never Give Up’ his way into a cuck scene.

Japanese comments are right. Sakura serves no purpose atp. Purely for erotic scenes. That’s it.

A balanced approach is always better, unreal optimism usually ends in disappoint like the blows I've taken from the previews today so far. Haven't had the TL drop yet but all I'm seeing from some panels someone kindly shared is a shocked Shinobu for now, I've seen him get serious nefpre in the manga and do awesome things, so for now all I can say is he needs time to recover, Fumi will be there for him and he's surrounded by way better people than whatever Sakura is right now.

Well from the perspective of the reader, mc losing Sakura is like the tiniest of losses and if this story want to have consistent characters (which it already doesn't) MC will realize that in time and not take her back, if she does come back. Nothing about their chemistry screamed soul mates so hopefully the author doesn't try to force anything for a desired outcome (which they have already done lol)

Exactly, I want more than anything for Shinobu to move on but I just have a gut feeling that Sakura will go running back to Shinobu when blondie and playboy abandon her.

Whether Shinobu takes her back or not is a different question.

Don't get your hopes up for Fumi-chan yet. Remember, the author hasn't changed the manga title, and it's very possible they'll still encounter each other in the future when everything becomes clear, and there might be the downfall of some characters, including Sakura and Fumi herself.

After so many chapters (and years), you kind of form a connection with the main characters and to see Sakura being replaced so suddenly with Fumi (she is great but still) just feels so disappointing. If Fumi was one of the main characters with more screen time (that was introduced much earlier), the transition would've been much smoother, but seeing the main fml change and the manga ending so soon (possibly) is so damn crushing.
