Putting aside the fact that you are reading a fan translation… Opera has gender-neutral language in the original Japanese version. Like, multiple times Nishi-sensei has left Opera’s gender a mystery because in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t matter

Not to mention that you’re reading a manga where

• The main character has crossdressed on a regular basis and is proud of it
• There are multiple characters confirmed to be gay
• The current conflict of the manga is the main character being unfairly treated by border patrol
• The whole concept of the series is Iruma overturning a society filled to the brim with selfishness by simply being a good kid and being kind to everyone, but at the same time learning to not just be a doormat himself

This manga is so woke that I have to take sleeping pills on a regular basis after reading it just so that I don’t suffer from insomnia. I sincerely hope you are just trolling us, because if you have been reading 50 volumes of this manga but sincerely can’t understand its most basic messages I just feel sorry for you.

My guess is that Sullivan is asking the Deity Princess to close the gate to prevent Iruma from getting sent back, and Ba'al is going to help in order to make Sullivan owe him a favor, like nominating Ba'al to be the next Demon King.

I expect anything Baal asks Sullivan for is going to be significantly more interesting than that. He's a scumbag, but he's also a smart scumbag. Hence why he engineered the situation that let him save Shura in the first place. He also needs Iruma to stay in the Demon World for his plans, and he's not working with Narnia on this one, or else he wouldn't have advised Shiida to protect Iruma.
