Yeah, but, it'd be really cool and probably make like a crater or something as a sidekick with earplugs yells about how strong it is and bad guys go "AAAAUHUGHGUGGUH" before turning into black and white lines

Apparently Japanese is 'ancient demon writing' in this world according to a couple chapters ago, so she can communicate with demons. But yeah, someone should get on with helping her in the local language.

Knight's hidden eye carries a curse of hatred.

In this setting curses nullify each other, her voice doesn't kill him and his eye doesn't repulse her (chapter 2, he's surprised she isn't affected, but the nature of his curse is yet to be revealed).

He knows how curses works, he deduced that her voice is cursed, but he misunderstands the nature of the curse, as he thinks it is the same as his.
