How come I was rude?😭
well they're still a human being with a life next to that and since scanlating isn't even a job you can't be there for it every months of all year-round, I thought that was easy to figure out for everyone but apparently you're struggling, be thankful instead

The wording.

Specifically the "get busy". Comes of as eithe aggressive or demanding, which is rude when the translator is doing it mostly as "voluntary work", instead of getting paid - and even then, if you were paying them, it feels kinda weird to say that in any type of public space since it kinda adds a demeaning feel to it.

Holy fucking shit, that was masterful! Toudou completely stripped her down to the bone with the rebuttals, and left 0 room for doubt... One catch. Niina actually had an out: A forced confession. She couldve argued the confession was forced, therefore it technically couldnt count as evidence. Falsifying Evidence isnt a bad angle, but the key kinda put any chance of that working into question, and it was ggs from there.
Heh, sorry, I'm two months late to this, don't mind me...

You're quite right about the forced confession. It wouldn't fly in a courtroom, and the same goes for the LINE chat printout. But those rules wouldn't apply here, just like boxing rules don't matter in a street brawl. These underhanded methods were only used to get Niina into a situation where her phone's contents were in focus... and she took the bait. Nobody in that room was going to ignore what they'd seen, and there wasn't any judge to tell them so.

Am I the only one who doesn’t like the generic ā€œand everyone clappedā€ speeches? I miss when she would just a drug people with Tea.

I’ve seen this same scene 1000 times. Everything in the first half of this series was fresh and brand new. But the worst part, the most terrifying part, is people clearly like and want the same thing they have seen 1000 times before.

edit: you're proving my point lmao...
Bro legit wants to read the "Drugged girl of the month" for like 40 chapters, oh my life...
This has been by FAR the best possible execution this manga could have had without a QUESTION and you're here dumbing down a 10+ monthly chapters arc into "and everyone clapped" nonsense? Give me a break.

The start was funny and all but there were still some things that outright earned a skip, at least from me. And the fact that Mochi Au Lait managed to turn that seamlessly into a proper manga with some of the best fleshed out cast out there is nothing short of miraculous.

Dodgeball arc had so many people pretending to not be interested when it was hands down some of the best Sports thrill you'll ever read and no one can deny that unless they skipped it.

And now this one. You just want some cheap p*rn with a funny gig? That's not getting anywhere.

In my honest opinions, getting to see how hard Toudou worked for all her evidence and to get Kurohime on stage alongside everyone else's developments and what I would honestly call a rather realistic take on how broken some school systems are, are all wonderful plot points that have been a thrill to read. This is why we read Yuri, we don't want some cheap mindless p*rn without any material, it's almost always Yuri that start with such a stupid/funny premise and push it to its absolute limit until it becomes something absolutely lovely.
Well, since you hate speeches I'll just stop there but you get a huge downvote from me and others... learn to read for God's sake.

what even is this manga anymore lmao. i'm enjoying it for the most part but it's so far removed from its initial premise it may as well be a different series. Toudou's development was a little too perfect and her "everyone clapped" speeches are so hamfisted. like that's not the same girl who tried to drug her teacher and then her classmates and in a roundabout way sexually harassed them. she faced no real consequences for that besides some cartoon violence. which wouldn't bother me if the tone of the manga hadn't shifted so dramatically.
oh well, i'll just keep holding out for the TD/Rin/Kurohime throuple.

I’m slowly, finally reading through this whole story but I had to stop and say something this chapter just point out how the Student President really had no place to be acting so self-righteous towards Toudou, and that the latter was fully justified blow up the way she did.

She talked a big game about how the rules are rules regardless of the motives, yet the motive is that both her student council and the faculty have failed to enforce those very rules time and again. Whether through incompetence, complicity, or just plain apathy, they’ve allowed a gang of delinquents to make a mockery of them, even using the disciplinary committee as their personal attack dogs. Has she no shame? Isn’t she embarrassed for herself that someone else has to break the rules to do her job for her? Personally, I think she also owes apology to Toudou.

It's a really fun moment! I love that Sakurazakura talks back to Itsumi after she goes SSJ like that, it shows just how much her ego was an asset to whatever Riko has been up to this whole time. I really also like the little interaction at the end, that Itsumi shows her gratitude when she does own up to the mistake and personally apologises to the light music club. You can even see Sakurazakura was annoyed that Itsumi didn't try to gloat about it! She's not used to people being the real deal!
