What "nonsense Murata wrote" are you referring to?

Do you mean the manga version of OPM? Or something that Murata said himself?

This was debunked like 4 years ago bud keep up. ONE admitted that he lets murata do what he wants.
Yeah!

ONE/Murata 2015 Joint Interview - https://onepunchman.fandom.com/wiki/Interviews

--How do you two work together during the writing process? Does ONE-sensei create new storyboards?

Murata:
With the main storyline or anything else where I’m going off of ONE-sensei’s original, I’m generally given free reign with page distribution and whatnot. But I’ll ask ONE-sensei if I have any questions.

ONE: That’s right.

Murata: For the main storyline, the dialogue stays pretty much the same. But with side-stories, sometimes I’ll try adding in scenes to ONE-sensei’s storyboards, or change the dialogue up a bit. In such cases, I’ll always ask ONE-sensei’s opinion. We’ll go back and forth fine-tuning it…and sometimes it’ll just end up reverting back to how it was in the beginning (laughs).

-----------------

The Monster Arc and the Garou Arc underwent significant story restructuring precisely because of the side stories created by Murata. I honestly don't know if Blast's introduction in the arc was Murata's idea or ONE's, but given how it played out—and the fact that we seemed stuck in a "loop" for about two years—I'm pretty sure it was Murata's idea.

To me, Blast was always a "wild card" character in the webcomic; he hadn't been revealed up to that point for that very reason—if Saitama was the embodiment of an "overpowered cheat character," Blast was the series' "Konami Code," meant to appear only in truly absurd situations.

"But the Garou Arc was pretty absurd"... sure, but I don't think it reached the level where Blast needed to step in. In the webcomic, Saitama resolves everything, and there is no "reset."

Damn, that's so out of pocket. I don't know why the fuck the guy would get mixed into something like that, especially on his official account as a high-profile artist.

Him apparently regularly communicating with right-leaning Japanese groups online is concerning too, especially considering how gung-ho about "racial purity" Japanese narratives tend to be... But that's a whole can of worms.

And yeah, I too am willing to believe that the baffling direction and countless rewrites that the manga has been plagued with are Murata's doing, given how the tone and dynamic are such a stark, meaningless shift from OPM's core themes and tropes.

this doesn't make much sense, nothing ONE has written before was that bad and than cliched, unless one is trolling on purpose in OPM manga. In that case he's doing it perfectly
you think ONE doesn't use a ton of clichés? What I think is that either the editor tells them to change story stuff (not weird in other manga) or ONE and Murata have some reason they haven't told just yet, maybe there was some kind of miscommunication once and that resulted in a new storyline that they're not sure how to close.

Of course there is miscommunication. Too much actually. Whatever it is, it's begin when murata think that was a good idea. I don't want to blame murata that much since people make mistakes and i've seen countless times other authors make mistakes too. Just don't be denial about it. People can voice their disappointment as long as it's not mixed with headcannon or lies just like death battle enjoyer or shipper do.

Is there hope murata can fix his mess? Well i still read what he make. His version only feels inferior plotwise but not to the point i got multiple big disappointments when i read naruto shippuden when they still ongoing. It's unfair to say he is got no talent in writing stories too. Eyeshield 21 is a good series or that one actually not purely made by murata after all?

Lads. It’s a manga. Sure, we can mourn the drop of quality, but it’s no reason to go into hypothetical whatnots of politics and shit.

genos being a pika pika mode was really prophesied from a good amount of time ago, but seeing it's awakening feels really cool...the last upgrade from Kuseno. Let see how far this teacher student sparring goes

Yeah I agree, he still can fix it.
