The part where Flashback story connect to current story in this chap is rather interesting, because Hina was a girl who adored Dara as her savior, and someone who she want to help/serve, yet not knowing as much story as other in flashback, still her descendants are the one who ended up helping and "serving" Dara the most in current day story. Kinda heartwarming

Has anyone paid even a little attention to the volume's cover that we saw in the first pages ?

I'm more interested in what they're going to talk about, more than "bad-end"-style what-ifs that have been spoilt by the fact we're catching up to the publication, and have stuff like volume covers to kinda imply the developments in it.

No, it's the same day.
Previous chapter was during the day when Dara and Kaoru made the clay figures.
This chapter is the evening of that same day. The clay figures he's putting out to dry are most likely the ones they made during the day.

I for one, dont like this. Sure, sesbian lex is cool and stuff but this tramples on the canon that the dad is still here, and that shes happily married, with kids as well. So no, this fanon is blasphemy for me

I didn't draw it, I just paid Samipeko to draw it. Her linework really is extraordinary, isn't it? I've gotten a few drawings from her and I've always been very satisfied with them.

You know, I feel like we're in for the most anti-climactic, funniest scenes in the following chapter.
Imagine Chiyo's shocked expression as Dara just tells het to grab the other controller and help get to grinding, then going on to explain that her kids approached her first, leading to the most awkward mom moment of having to accept that your kids have gotten closer to the super dangerous entity, and that they have fun with her whenever they freaking can.

And then comes Chiyo's reluctant acceptance, and a biiiiiiiiiit of a scolding in the morning from keeping such things from her lmao.

So the narration near the end of the chapter was actually Jurota or whoever that carpenter guy was called? Yamatagi Madara was referred to in the third person and said as “the neck” and not “my neck” and Madara didn’t create the spell to let people who she’s coming IIRC as Jurota had to place the spell on Madara himself. Are these narrations from beyond the grave or am I just misremembering and Madara made the bells while she was still in control?

Actually nevermind… the wording is a bit strange but the font gives it away that it’s the usual Madara speaking and she’s referring to the actual snake god Yamatagi Madara.

This lore of the past is so hard to keep track of sometimes…
