Got a gut feeling that the reason why she stabbed her parents was something that if we knew we would side with her which is why we didn't get exposed to her past yet.
Heck, as a wild guess I think her parents were involved in the cult and wanted to "sacrifice" her to them.
Said cult is maybe the same MC was forced to spy once in the past, the same cult the gothic lolita newbie is leader of now and the reason she's obsessed over MC maybe because his meddling in the past lead to take over the leadership and wants to save him as thanks.

My suspicion is she was trying to take out the guy seen flipping through photos at the end.
I suspect, with minimal supporting evidence, that's a detective on a stakeout. Either someone's convinced she's going to kill again(in which case, good eye), or she broke out of prison and he thinks he's found her(it is mentioned that main dude's surprised she's out already).
First I thought that she was actually a good person and had real reason to try and kill her family and she got mentally unstable from something they done to her and I wanted a good ending were the Mc fix her but now forget about it just get here arrested and get her a Death sentence.

That guy was a fool, but society really does have a sickness if they're placing mild stalking lower than murder, straight up.
If anything this chapter just confirmed she is beyond help, and unfortunately knowing how 99% of manga is the girl will get away with it all in the end because she's heckin' cute or something. Would love to be proven wrong, I'd love to see bad people protagonists get their just desserts. Same feeling I had as series like Overlord progressed, but most authors, especially mangaka, aren't up to the task of actually writing out a complex and drawn out downfall of an objective villain. They almost always win in the end, outside of weekend morning anime tier battle shounen where it's basically a given the Big Bad will lose eventually.
With the way most modern series are this'll get axed before chapter 40/50 and have a super rushed ending where she'll get away with everything in the end.You know it, I know it. 🤷♂️

Here we see the contrast in the portrayal of a hot stalker (FMC) and an ugly one in mangaland (lets face it, irl as well). Naturally, nobody cares about the ugly one but straight up killing him might be a bit much. But it looks like his inner thoughts hit too close for some here lmao.

yep, I gave it 5 chapters and I don't like it, don't like the protagonist, any of the characters, the writer seem to be banking on cliffhangers which is not a healthy way of writing, MC will keep being a wimp, swayed by everyone around him, unable to do anything without the hand of god helping him.
Is a tonal mess, is overly dramatic, not funny, not sexy, not credible, it feels like the characters lack a soul of their own, is more like the author took a bunch of cliches and smashed them against his idea and is trying to make it work.

Also are you just living under a rock? Overreactions are the norm in this space for a while. People like Isayama got a deluge of death threats and harassment in general for the ending to Attack on Titan.
Stalking and other stuff is obviously a touchy subject for some people, especially in the west where crimes like it and leading into ones like rape always seem to have this much more kneejerk, very bitter outrage over them compared to murder in stories. Game of Thrones writer George R.R. Martin even pointed that out in his stories, how the readers and viewers were fine with very explicit violence and gore, but any non-con sexual acts had the absolute pinnacle of disgust and anger.
People are dumb and irrational. That was my point, the hypocrisy of not mentioning her bad behavior in any bad light whatsoever and cheering cold blooded murder for mild stalking. I don't subscribe to the foolish line of thought of shielding every post online behind "they must have been joking", these "people" are not owed that. Not the obvious obnoxious “I want to make you lash at me” troll, but simply saying whatever shit felt fun in the moment, whether you seriously believed in it or not. When true anonymity was the norm, because everyone used gazillions of different pseudonyms, and you had memes like the famous “On the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog.” For all these reasons, I never assume anything someone says on the Internet is true, a fortiori is an accurate un-nuanced representation of their beliefs and opinions, until I have solid proof of the contrary.
