Bruh, i remember reading this in the novel, the manga version makes tatsuya seems more keen on killing him

Fucking finally! I have been waiting for this chapter since I saw the raw.
Tatsuya finally used Baryon Lance, which was specifically developed to counter magic like Phalanx. Didn't expect him to straight up cut Juumonji's arm though.

I must say I'm slightly disappointed with how Juumonji fought. In anime s1, final Monolith Code, he just rammed the opponents like this too. I thought it was lame, but they said that a real fight would be more scary. But it's just... Eh. I think launching the barriers Phalanx was cooler.

I dont think he's keen on killing him, he just doesn't care if he did kill if Juumonji didn't stand down.
