Its actually amazing. Almost every fantasy manga ive read that has such large time skips always has something off about the pacing to me. But this one... The skill of the author, plus being an essentially immortal elf makes it seem so effortless.

I think the pace is a big part of the appeal, really. The way everything feels like it's staying the same while changing drastically...
I think it'd be cool if we meet a character later on that's had the same kind of life, but they've been on the opposite side of the world until the moment they both meet at some crossroads.
