Holy shit, this goon slop might become goon peak, that’s such a cool plot twist. Possessing your own body and being unaware of it, is insane.

It even retroactively changes everything.

Maybe the sister wants to “kill” him so he can properly pass on? Maybe she only “hates” him so that she doesn’t lose the will to go through with it?

Obviously there’s more amiss, since his body has full functionality and whatnot, so he’s more like a vampire than a typical undead, but the general idea still stands.

Maybe the real hiroto is indeed dead and ghost possessed his body gaining hiroto memories. But the doesn't know that he is a ghost and is convinced that he is the real hiroto.

Maybe it's a combination of these two. He died(possibly by her "instant death") and when she tried to "undo" it, he was replaced by a ghost who now has his memories and believes it's actually Hiroto.

There's also the fact that his ability is S-class but he's being lied to about that. How that plays into this, I'm not sure.

There's also the fact that his ability is S-class but he's being lied to about that. How that plays into this, I'm not sure.

If you are told that your ability is S-rank in a world where women treat men like shit, what do you think most abused men would do?

Him being lied to is likely keeping everyone safe, but when he finds out his true strength, the world will burn assuming the thing inside him is more prone to vengeance than the real mc's soul.
