Guys, throughout the whole manga there have been time skips both forward and backward and then interruptions to the storyline for some amazingly cute omake-like chapters. This is the way Hiro operates. He basically does what he wants on his own timeline and Young Jump is more than happy to oblige him. When you get to be Hiro's level of excellence, you can p. much name your own terms...
Don't worry, he'll come back to the storyline. He always does.

It’s Kamimoku Neko. She’s in the traditional archery club and is Usagihara’s roommate in the dorm. Nawashiro braided her hair back in an earlier volume.

I still have massive respect for the art of this series but the story feels so unfocused since the start of the play arc, and if the story did timeskip out of the end of that with no payoff I might be done.

Let the author cook. 😊 He’s not failed yet (although he may be dragging-out the story a bit.). Frankly, if he’s gonna drag, I hope he switches back to Oshizu and Mai’s story. I’d love to find out how Oshizu’s, ‘Give Me a Hammer’ punk rock song went down at the festival.
