Tbh it's pretty nice he went from doing gooner shit to an actual story, that solidifies him. There are far too many technically impressive artists that cannot do other than gooner shit.

Again, the only reason why we are even taking this seriously is because all those scenes of Yuu and Yami fucking illegally in love hotels. It´s literally the only real serious thing who has happened in this series.
As I said, even Shikimori at least presented a real case of homewrecker cat really thinking in destroy a happy relationship between the boy who she liked and his girlfriend the other female character.
Here we never got a real NTR scene yet.

Yea man my theory seems to be coming in fruition. Hikari and aya will rekindle by forgetting Yuu and their relationship at the end of the story will be left ambiguous and will imply that they’ll be a couple. Yuu is not even a main character so I see the author giving him the short end of the stick while trying to better these two. Yuu got shafted by the author for not giving his pov or feelings on things except for that small arc which gave him some character but now he’s been a plot point for these two. Whoever wanted dark yuri you got it

Actually forget my last comment I think Hikari is going to crash out about how aya has been pushing her feelings away for silly shit. Omari is due for a crash out and the only reason she didn’t flip on Yu was because he was crying. She seemed bitter that he was crying about her and it seems like that gave her the “ick” I think she finds aya and gives her an ultimatum and finally express herself yelling. She crashed out on Yu but aya deserves to be called out even more. None of this would happened if she didn’t kiss Yu and I think that will be what Hikari talks about. But I only see this ending in two ways. 1.) t Hikari prioritizes aya over yu and they become friends while yu is the odd man out 2.) no one is going to be friends and everyone agrees to give each other time apart for a mental reset and the story gets a time skip

Chapter 50 had Yami thinking that the winner is decided already, which imo contradicts your idea that she thinks Hikari won't have him.

I think the victor is decided is about Yuu loving Hikari more, that Aya thinks Hikari is the winner of Yuu's affections. She knows he's not with Hikari b/c in 51 he offers himself to her and she asks if she can have him for herself.

And he is honest about it, to be fair to him.

Kinda but not really? Like the problem is he's not honest about which girl he truly wants to be with, which to be fair I don't think he's sorted out for himself. In this chapter he makes it seem like he was trying to save Aya for Hikari, but he's also willing to throw Hikari away to do so. And it's like ??? Is this all a great act of love for Hikari? For Aya? ETA: which going to the previous paragraph, Aya doesn't want a Yuu who is only w/ her to save her b/c it's what Hikari wants.

The artist thought he was gonna draw a simple romance manga between childhood friends and ended up trapped drawing a cheap bait-and-switch NTR drama soap from the author of White Album 2.
