Are you referring to the pic in the bottom right corner of the scanlator's page?

Rifles are generally stored with the barrel up and resting on their buttstock. In gun stores and military armories, where you have a large number of rifles, they're stored upright.

There may be some instance where you'd store it barrel down, but that'll be in private collections with customized storage. Or, if it's in a gun case (or display case), it may be stored horizontally.
