What the heck kind of translation is this? Names change from panel to panel, pronouns aren’t set, what gives? At the very least there’s room to grow, but it feels like a machine translation, done panel by panel, with an old model.

Mangadex requires money to function. It gets this money by advertising to people to become supporters on their website. If you pay to become a supporter, you are advertised as a supporter on mangadex's forum. There is no forum and there is nothing to the website each without manga that has been uploaded. No manga == no advertising.

And who would be better to upload manga than one who uploads chapters as soon as possible with no mind for quality, who would also do it for free beside being able to advertise their ko-fi, patreon, etc.?
