Besides aliens sympathy, here it is important the message: you cannot fight hate with hate, you can fight hate only with love. Theoretically it would be true, but unfortunately in reality we live in a cruel world and this will never work with psycopaths or messed up people.

I can feel sympathy for the individual ones that are decent but it's still clear that the majority plan is to take over earth and there are some who are too naive to realise that on the alien side.
