That guy is smoking crack either way, the manga had take other route long ago, it skipped almost 1 volume and last 3 or 4 chapters are original content so i think he really will confess and maybe the manga is ending or it will just be its own thing.

Well, I'd say, Shimizu's inner struggles are quite realistic, especially for someone of her age.

Also, on page 30, there's a typo in the right thought bubble of the second panel, it should be "separated" and not "seperated".

Honestly, I don't remember either, I normally don't pick up romance series unless there is something different about them, which this is just the same generic stuff we've seen a million times.

Truth for me, as a novel reader, I honestly already consider this manga to be like another timeline. There were so many things that never happen in a light novel for thing like Matsuoka starting dating Seto or Hondo never meeting Shimizu's parents. And Shimizu's birthday party never happened either. that mean the second bear doll never exist. Relationship with Hondo and Shimizu is too much advance honestly I think it not add up to the big event that is going to come in volume 4.

If the confession happens, that means the manga storyline is completely different from a light novel. Honestly, the thing that happens in the last 4–5 chapters never happens in the light novel and the relationship between them progressed so fast it was too fast, actually. If the manga author still wrote based from the storyline in a light novel, I think it would not add up anymore.

The story in manga right now compared to the light novel. It was the beginning of volume 4 and light novels only have 4 volumes still ongoing. I am still waiting for volume 5 for like 1 year. At that point, maybe that is why the manga author decided to add these things to stalling in order to wait for the light novel to publish.

I s2g bro if this is another fake out, I’m squarely putting this in the trash category. You cannot have THREE fake outs in the span of 22 chapters and not expect your readers to be raging.

Anything less than a full throated confession from Daiki is a SLAP in the face to the reader.

I honestly have zero faith in a confession happening. He will most likely say that he cherishes her as friend, or it gets interrupted, or he confesses and some loud noise covers it and he says “nevermind.”

It’s been one bullshit trope after another since the two of them realized they love each other. The story started out so strong. Both characters were making huge improvements and it’s all come to ass screeching halt for absolutely no good reason.

This is the moment, the confession needs to happen here and stick (that means no bullshit misunderstandings or backtracks or interruptions), because anytime after this is going to feel cheap and unearned.

EDIT: After reading the chapter again, I’m convinced there will be no confession. He is 100% going to say something about how much he values the time he has with her and everyone else. He will most likely say that no matter what happens she will be special to him and blah blah blah. She will feel relived and tell herself that she will work up the courage to confess to him at a later date rather than “rush it” even though this moment is the “later date”
