Yes, we did modify some of the older pages, mainly the credits pages. There are two fairly simple reasons for that.

First, we were previously banned from MangaDex over the way we were promoting our Patreon.

After discussing the situation with the moderators and getting the ban resolved, we decided to change that section of our credits so we wouldn't run into the same issue again.

Second, while making those changes, we also updated the credits to include our own website. The site had existed for some time, but, as my teammate DannsYT already explained in his previous message, we were only recently able to start using it properly.

We also checked this with the MangaDex moderators. Our website does not have a paywall, coins, paid chapter unlocks, or even advertisements at the moment. Nobody has to pay, subscribe, or donate in order to read the chapters there.

And just to make this clear: HikariMangas is not intended to replace MangaDex, nor are we planning to stop updating here. Chapters will continue to be uploaded to MangaDex as well.

So yes, the credit pages were updated. There isn't really anything hidden about that—we changed them after our previous moderation issue and used the opportunity to update our current group information.

I appreciate your groups work, people really getting way too upset over stupid things while reading all this for free anyway, hope it doesn't get you down too much.

Although it's funny to blame being X for all that happens, it's very clear it has not been (directly) meddling nearly as much with most of what has unfolded. The deities though, they have stacked enough miracles that it wouldn't be out of the question for the decapitated body of Mary Sue to reattach her head like some silly cartoon character, given so far she:

-counteracted ancient sorcery and curses without a scratch
-ignored each and every defense turning all attacks potentially deadly
-shielded each and every attack turning most spells useless
-healed through most damage taken regenerating all except clothing
-withstood miracle-powered attacks with minor inconveniences only
-copied enemy attacks and tricks and deployed them seamlessly
-conjured massive spells without ever scratching a nearly bottomless pool of mana

Being completely honest if the Commonwealth got to know her power, they could have ended the war by just dropping her in the empire's center like a nu- like an unstoppable force. Given that Tanya, her battalion and the very few who got some lingering holiness are the ones who can delay or stop her, she could very well wreck all the top chain of command in no time.

Nah, Mary Sue, true to her name, survives the attack with minor injuries (if she took any damage at all). Her powers arent from Being X, but every single god that exists OTHER than Being X. Including the Author.

To survive and eventually defeat Tanya is her sole purpose, as it is already written.

In this version being x did grant Mary's wish of having the magic power to fight like her father. What he didn't expect was two other Gods granting the wish of her father and mother which gave her main character syndrome and her absurd protection abilities. The protection abilities are able to pierced by another miracle such as Tanya's orb but it also comes with super regeneration so unless you confirm her death she won't be staying down.
