Not sure where they see that but if that's the excuse they are gonna use, guess I'll just have to bitch and moan to make it true. 🤷 What an absolute loser, waaa waaa crying little baby get sad over people complaining? Waaa waaa. Seriously though, pretty sure that's a fake reason to stop working on it. I see no negative comments here about it, just say you didn't want to do it and move on, simple as that. It's quite the opposite, most people are grateful for translators and the work they do for the passion of it.

IK the story is meant to be "oh he helped her through a rough time by being her emotional pillar and she loves him!!!" but honestly looking purely at the events and the character reactions without the framing of romance it reads more like a girl who is deeply emotionally vulnerable latching on too deeply to a one sided relationship. In reality, she would likely fall out of love since the guy isn't this idealised yes-man emotional cove that she's sorta made him out to be. Funnily enough, this is also what a lot of other romcoms make the FMC to be; some sort of surrogate mother to the MC that provides unending emotional support and sexual value due to their appealing appearance. They rarely if ever have any real issues of their own and their character revolves around the relationship.

That said, if the series was going off over realism they wouldn't have an idol still attending high school in such an obvious manner. Or the initial premise of the two being classmates meeting in an MMO, for that matter. So who cares, I guess. I just like it when my animanga slop series at least can do the characters - the only real constant across stories - well. But oh well, who cares.

this whole drama is so fucking unnecessary and stupid. This shit made me so mad I'm gonna rant about it.

MC decides to cut ALL forms of communication for no goddamn reason, which is an extemely stupid and drastic choice, without even discussing it with her privately. Her online persona isn't even known so they clearly couldve still talked privately. FMC and her friend tells MC that her relationship with him and his support kept her motivated and pushed her to keep going for her career. MC despite being aware of this still decided to make this decision anyway. FMC is then completely depressed and unmotivated. What a massive fucking shocker! Who would've thought completely ghosting someone right after opening their vulnerabilties to you would cause a misunderstanding! "I didn't consider her feelings" you didn't even use that noggin of yours you dumbass. Completely ghosting her is extremely fucking stupid and irrational especially considering you have 4 years of consistent contact, (even though online) your relationship was still special enough to involve her in your future (one of his dialogues literally says he can't imagine life without playing with her). And now you throw it all away without even considering alternatives. Just stupid, unnecessary writing and the author is just making drama for the sake of drama. MC couldve just said "Let's keep it private" and it all wouldve been done. It's another romance slop but I had to get this off my chest because this format is soooo goddamn overused.
