I didn't think she owned that house but it's living there as a caretaker. So in theory the only expenses could be covered by what Pops left her and potentially her mother could have set something up for her too. We didn't get much more info besides the fact she was abandoned.

Wasn't this addressed in the previous chapter? That house is hers, so unless there is some really high tax, she should be fine. Also, manga logic.
