Nice to see finally getting OG Grace's perspective, but I wonder what she means that it's too soon for her to take control.

Are those gashadokuro in the last panel? Certainly looks that way.

@TesutoLTSF, on page 16 there's a very minor typo, rather than Daikaku we have a Daigaku.

Nonetheless, thank you for the chapter as usual.

So real Grace was aware the entire time, and she would have acted just like Kenzo if she was not set up on ojou-sama mode.

I am so glad that she was released from that cage and can continue her normal life, without being bond by aristocratic etiquette. At least the one that her grandmother aura farmed her, a big mistake from her part.

But I do wonder what she has in mind when the time is not yet right for her to assume direct control again? :thonk:

Btw, if you understood the reference above we can be friends. :meguu:

I'd been looking forward to becoming privy to Grace's thoughts, but to learn she seems fine with Kenzaburou's choices and actions, even to the extent she feels like things would be better off for everyone if he remained in charge, was more than a little sad. The poor girl must have been hating herself even as she was stuck for how to act differently, which often feels impossible for people.

I wonder if maybe she wants to learn from the way he acts, so that eventually she'll feel like she can resume her old life? Gonna be interesting if it's too jarring for other people that she's now acting in ways they're not used to, particularly Anna.

Ah well, speculation only takes one so far, and I continue to enjoy this title.

Yeees some Grace's pov!!
I think it's very interesting to see more of her. She confirmed that what Kenzaburou is doing is things she wouldn't have said out loud, which means she thinks about it. So I guess that this experience will make her a more genuine and honest person, who doesn't hide what she thinks.

It's also very interesting that it's her grandma that made her break free from her cage. Not her dad, her mother who came to the school festival, her brother, her maids, her friends, but her grandmother. We've been hinted that her mother is a person who's very important for Grace, and I kinda thought that it would be her who would break her cage. But her grandmother makes more sense because Grace knows her better. She heard countless stories, read many books about her, and even when meeting her she felt like this inaccessible person. But the fact that she isn't, shattered Grace's reality, it proves that you can be an amazing person without being a perfect being.
I wonder if her mother will be the reason why she will take her body back.

Her wanting Kenzaburou to stay is very realistic: until now she was just a passive viewer. She was seeing his actions but she wasn't trying to actively learn from him. If she were to take back her body know, would she be able to act like the Grace they all know? Probably no.

I like to think of the wife and daughter on the phone with the game developer's customer support. "Yeah, so my dad was in an accident and went into a coma but then we discovered that his soul was within the world of one of your games as the antagonist. Uh huh. Right. Oh really.".

" Yes, ma'am we are so sorry. But this has happened a few times before. But the connection to one of our legacy titles from the catalogue is a new wrinkle. But yes, it should resolve itself if your husband keeps playing through the game. We call it the Jumanji Phenomenon. If that is all you need then I was close out the ticket. "

About time we get a bit of original Grace.

Setting up a little table was...odd, but I guess that means she's getting more comfortable in the mind palace or wherever they are.

Yeah, I can see that happening with Grace, especially that in the panel we see her with a notebook. So looks like she’s taking notes for herself
