wonder if it's axe-kun or yet another instance where authors have no idea what to do after the get-together part of a story. at least it didn't drag out for years, though i'll be perfectly honest and say it's been so long i can't remember how it started. and it looks like chapt 1 - 5 are gone on md so i'd have to find some other source to refresh my memory [sigh]. oh well, good enough run i suppose.

Wooohhh... MC and Shimizu are finally officially dating and got married in the timeskip But I'm also super pissed that a popular, full sugar dose manga like this had to get AXED so fast, while NTR trash, generic fantasy/isekai slop, and manga like KANOKARI get milked for hundreds of chapters. Sure, they got married and ended it with a kiss, but I really wanted to see their child. Shinzo Abe is not happy seeing this

This was fine until the sudden montage timeskip/flash-forward at the end. That felt like they maybe expected one or two more chapters to wrap things up and were denied.


In the end this series was ok, I guess. I'm not a fan of this last chapter basically spelling out "your life improved once you stopped standing out and returned to normal black hair" as if fitting in was the issue and not her overcoming her personal problems, but whatever. I can't expect too much from generic empty calories manga like this.

ah, the classic. neat series with likeable characters and then comes meh-ending-kun and sours the aftertaste

wasn't a bad series, but it wasn't really good either. needed one more volume or so to have a satisfying ending, but sadly so many authors seem to be absolutely allergic to this
