Mangadex users guzzling the MTL slop like real champs, as per the norm. Dialogue in speech bubbles could be scrambled word salad typed in left-aligned Times New Roman, and people would still be assuming the position on their knees to open their mouths in thanks for the TL.

The war was lost a long time ago, MTL in and of itself isn't terrible, as mentioned it's better than nothing. MTL sniping an active but behind and most importantly GOOD translation leaves a terrible after taste. The fact the bulk of readers don't really seem to care for quality or even supporting an active but slower quality translation has been shown time and again.

I just try to stay and read the quality translations when they come out. Very few do but at least it's not zero.

I wouldn’t count on it. The previous uploader last uploaded a single chapter 15 days ago, and prior to that his last upload was chapter 42 of this manga over 2 months ago. He gave no indication he was going on hiatus. Whatever he’s doing on his Discord, he hasn’t uploaded anything remotely close to his previous cadence or consistency, and I’d consider him to have dropped most of his projects at this point.

Are high quality transitions preferred? Of course. I have no interest in defending a thing that doesn’t exist, though, and high quality translations of these previous 6 chapters do not appear to exist.
