This situation is only not nightmarish because the woman is attractive and the man is a pushover. Unfortunately it would be completely unacceptable to have a story where he was attracted to someone else and was upset that some random albeit talented demon woman insisted their marriage was fate.

The author treats it as normal, but there's an undercurrent of like abuse to the whole thing.

The girl was locked up for years just because she has horns?
The girl using her future sight power to get the MC to agree to things?

etc etc

I think the only "nice" explanation for the motivations for the second one is that she's destined to die after the future she's seen has come to pass and she's speeding things up to spend more time with the MC.

I'm not the tallest person and I've seen strong tall Women when I worked in warehouses but I was still a lot stronger than them. I guess her being a Yokai or w/e makes her just that strong. Given the fact that both are office workers. Maybe she helped out at the farm idk.

I get the feeling that her visions go a lot deeper than she's letting on. She said that her vision always come true and that she can't change much. I find it a bit wierd that she immediately went full throttle on becoming a novelist despite the fact that she seemingly could've just wrote anything and fate would have just done the rest.

Well then we have to know WHY she cant change it. Because, logically, if she just didnt write, it wouldnt happen. Thus I think 'the visions come true' is because it is a vision she WANTS to come true, and that want leads to her naturally making it happen. She CAN'T change it because she doesnt WANT to.

The draw of fiction is the ability to romantically or thematically explore situations & relationships that would be ill advised in the real world with the safety that there's little, if any, actual stakes tied to the real world.

The draw of fiction is that the author has the creativity to come up with new and interesting narratives that defy reality, and explore the conflicts that could spring from fantastical situations. This is especially important in character dramas where the author has a lot of room to explore social and cultural nuances.

Look at every other domestic romance \ wish fullfillment goonbait manga that's come out in the past 5 years and tell me this is any different. The only reason fantasy is ever a factor in these is surface level aesthetics and fetish archetypes.
