This manga I read it in the 2020 the start of pandemia, was a interesting idea, I followed for a long time until I realized that I will not never continue. I investigated for long an find that The web novel only have 63 chapters, in a official announcement of the creator say that the concept was generic so he abandoned it. It was a shame, but this months I've been searching in pages that publishes books I find a title so similar to the Manga, was called "Virus Terminal: Zero. That time that I got reincarnated in a Virus". In Inkkit. The concept seems the same, I read it a while and seems that this autor got inspired in this manga. It's not the same as this manga, but apparently takes many things of the manga likes there's skills and the plot, but the book makes it feel that isn't a copy from the manga. And seems that the story it's more focused in the adventure and exploration of the world. It is what I see, but yeah.
I recommend this book if you are interested in the concept of Virus in a World of Fantasy, it might not be the same of this manga, but I think this book develops more interesting things about it

Honestly I lost hopes in the 2 year waiting a new chapter.
How shame that ended that way. It was a interesting Isekai idea, but got cancelled by his author.
But honestly the story has so many things that I didn't like.

I will like to point the protagonist; antisocial biologist reincarnated in a virus. He's a protagonist so generic, a Japanese dude with human morals. Listen, don't look me wrong, im not a hater that he's Japanese, but he's a virus, I expected it to be less human, in the moral aspect. A little bit more violent, he's very sentimental, and very protective to another species. That was boring, I was thinking he will grow as virus, he said that will infect this fantasy world but he wont infect the first human that he sees, yeah, I is valid that he doesn't know about this world and how to act as that person that he possessed. But also he didn't infect her because he still have human morals, is something so lame. this talks that the protagonist doesn't have a real goal, he just a virus. A protagonist with no goal, it will just wander in this world.

Anyways, that's enough for the protagonist. I will also like to point the characters and the world.
There's so generic.
A medieval City's, dungeon's, guilds, blah blah blah.
Many things that is a manual to be a isekai generic.

Lol xd, you can tell that I don't like the protagonist xd.

Well, i think that's enough. If you want something similar to this manga there's a book Named "Virus Terminal: Zero. That time that I got reincarnated in a virus"
Titles are almost a copy paste, and if you think that the book copy all of the manga, well not all, just took the start, system, the concept of human reincarnated in a virus. And the rest is original from this author of the book. I recommend read it, is focused in exploration, action, World building, and the past of the protagonist. I like it to much, and I will be so happy that more people read this book. You can find it in Inkkit

So the ending of this is the protagonist just dies and then the Femc probably gets killed next since the Mc can’t save her. Crazy place to cancel a series

well yer this was posted years ago. My point stands for the others do.
Um, actually, Rimuru stays in his slime form most of the time. The anime adaptation does show his human form a lot, but if you read the LN, you'll see that he's most comfortable in his streamlined blob form.

Edit:
Give me a good manga
Welp. My bad. I am illeterate.
