I'm just wondering why it was in her backpack... sure I can see it's value in all sorts of animal related situations, but still seems more detrimental to your average walk out to gather herbs and materials.

I assume that in the pouch it smells far less, but still enough to deter the small-fry monsters.
Also makes a very nice alternative to pepperspray in case of the Standard Leering Adventurer/Drunk....

Except for the "Said to be the stinkiest in the world" part. That would mean she is effectively carrying a biological warcrime in her pocket to ward off drunks. Any time she used it, half the town would be throwing up till the stench was removed.

Im glad this wasn't just an instant win, i really want him to have to be smart and not just get by because of some stupid cheat skill magic crap like always.

Easy to accomplish something that Smells Up one person of ill-intent, maybe a group... She's an Alchemist after all.. Must have some sense of correct proportions....
