Gotta say, my interest in this story is being renewed. Not enough to ignore the shorthair propagandism, but the story still has its merits.

Speaking of shorthairs, I don't like Root, but I like that shorthair princess (she does not deserve the beautiful name she has--at all) even less. She does not know what she's dealing with: the dramatic irony there is so thick, you could cut it with a knife; even with that little display of power she got, she still doesn't get how outclassed she is.
