her wording of taking the demons out of his way, while still making a friggin' terror attack on Rotsgard is one of the 2 reasons of Makoto getting tired of that world (still waiting for the time with the merchant guild), he gets so fed up that he pretty much makes the 1st conquer attack by his people to take the city/castle that once was the country of his parents. Also one of the reasons he just f*cks up with the demons plan in the fight for Fort Stella... peak event, expecting great things from the manga to show it.

Lily's belief in her own path and power could conquer Tomoe until it's spelled out how much a folly that is, Rona's belief in honoring the exact words of her contract with Makoto will cost her, and Makoto looking to prevent it's growth in his students by training them to fight in new ways.

I might be wrong cause I caught up on the web novel years ago, somewhere around chapter 400+, and haven't followed up since. But I don't recall it ever being plot relevant.

As I recall: Abelia never learns about her dad, her Dad doesn't realize he just watched his daughter kill his son. No one sees how ironic it is. That makes it a purely thematic detail. Family killing family, because the Goddess's "Beauty Supremacy/Hyuman Supremacy" society has things like noble pride and the cruelty of hierarchies and getting into a speciest war with the Demons. Ilumgand goes from being an alright guy, to a dead lumpy monster, nobody learns anything. Sad!

Despite being quite the powerhouse himself, Shiki being bullied by his 'older sisters' are funny and kinda pitiful moments. Even when Makoto get a fourth follower gifted to him by the gods, Shiki is still lower in the power ladder, compared to the is new 'younger sister'.
