Wait, series finale? We aren't getting the rest the novels have? :p
The rest of the novels after the twins goes right off the rails and gets really strange and contrived. I'm actually glad they're stopping here. I do hope they'll at least have the twins in the afterward or smth, tho...

It was stated months ago that the manga will end after arc 1 (Aonoshimo's making this manga with almost zero breaks for 6+ years), but where the manga will end was still undecided. They might cover some of the extras inbetween arc 1 and arc 2 rather than just ending it at the end of LN2.

Yep. Haven't felt tonal/narrative whiplash over what a story began as to what it became like that since Asobi Asobase.

There's been no announcement that 65 is the last chapter. I think the epilogue with the kids will be adapted. :win:
Pretty sure they said the manga will end after this arc; still, I doubt it will end with this volume in just 1 chapter, maybe with next one (that make, 6 more chapters).

"arc" referring to the meaning for the LNs. Arc (act) 1 = LN1, 2. Arc 2 = LN3-5. And bonus fact, CNMA (TAFM) is sometimes referred to as arc/act 3.

The manga uses similar language to divide up what was grouped as chapters in the novels, ex. chapter 51 onwards has been titled the "revolution" arc, so-named after the novel chapter it's adapted from. So I don't blame the mixup. But the official statement was that novel act 2 would not be adapted, specifically because Inori fears the series might be cancelled halfway through it.

That said, there's a lot of bonus stories set between acts 1 and 2, and what I'm betting on is that we'll see some of those adapted in the next volume. I'm betting on 6 chapters as well.

Confirmed: there will be a chapter 66. Chapter 65 ends with a cliffhanger, "to-be-continued" :win:

This felt like 5 chapters crammed into one. Reveals that felt like they should have had their own chapter were handled as like two lines of dialogue.

It definitely feels rushed to me. They were in different locations like every two pages.

Since the plot was written out beforehand, to me it feels like chapter time wasn't allocated that well...some chapters could have been sped up and combined to give this critical time more breathing room.

Kinda annoying that the 2 fantasy yuri series that have been so good have both pretty much just been a advertisement for the light novel…

With very few exceptions, almost all manga and anime that are adaptations of LNs are advertisements for the LN they're adapting......

This is true. That's generally how it goes, as I understand it. Even outside LNs. Like, wasn't the Bloom Into You anime made as an ad for the manga?
Some of my favorite pieces of media of all time are ads, by that standard...

Also, MathMols, the webnovel is free and fully translated into english ^^

Just remember, 1/2 way thru vol 3, it goes completely off the rails and goes to shite. Just make sure to stop when a weird character is introduced...

Act 2 certainly needs work and disliking it is fine but it's not terrible :( It's more of a ymmv thing so I can't really agree with telling people to just skip it
