They're such a cute couple, and Obinata's smug face is just too cute. Also, the 3 of them still being scared of taking a bath because they're haunted by that horror movie they watched earlier is way too funny
For the most part I agree with this, unless they are actively speaking in modern or era specific slang terms then go right ahead.Don't translate gyaru slang into gen z brainrot please.
I wish they would stop hiding and make it official. I doubt that anyone would give them trouble.
I thought that would be still an issue in early 2000's and not 2026.Japan is actually very strict on dating when you are in middle and high school. It's a very traditional and conservative culture. PDA is a taboo thing to do. Plus, I read a study that Japan finds quiet and subtle romance like finding gifts in your back by your s/o more romantic than doing it in person.
In conservative culture; romance is behind closed doors.

Though still conservative, they should have loosen up a lot on such things giving that new millenial generation and the generations onward are much more liberal than the ones before.
I see how it is...No, they are more conservative than the previous generations. The Japanese people I've met in their 20s are more traditional in line than the ones in their 30s. Same thing for US Americans too. Trust me......
