They're still wandering around in the Night Parade, it will take decades or centuries before they fully turn into Yokai.

The Centipede monsters from One Punch Man are based on the same type of Yokai, so he's at least big enough to wrap around the mountain several times.

Wow, I thought Kaoru a lot more cautious than that! Getting spirited away, eating Otherworld food, wearing a mask given by a yokai, giving the yokai his name - he is really getting himself killed one of these days.

So what did he do with that bead thou? Did he modified it so Dara san is related to him? Yokai are quite different to humans so I bet there are certain requirements for them to reproduce.

It would be fun to see a flashback of snek and centipede fight. I bet snek did something to centipede which in turn caused centipede to help Dara san.

Now that I think about it, we do need more lady's night with Chiyo and the Priestess more. We might get more background lore from this two.

I love chapters like this... I don't know what detail I should point out that makes me feel this way, but... there is a "feels good" feeling.

Maybe it is the festival theme, maybe it is that Dara-san has to hide less and less, and can interact with people that love her.

Maybe it is the fantastical feeling of ending in an otherworldly place.

Maybe it is the fact that despite there being danger, it isn't immediate, and fun can be had.

Maybe it is the feeling of friendship and belonging.

But certainly it is all of the above.

Nagi sleeping with her kid beside her was so cute... and mama got up, and in front the moment she felt something out of place.

Interesting that Ryukan doesn't seem resentful of Dara "taking" his mountain... well... for starters, it wasn't really her, and she didn't do it of her own volition, but kami can be spiteful independently.

But still... grateful he not only became her "family", but he also taught her a technique to help... I am curious if Nagi expected such a being to take the last pill, and... where is that sword? Doubt a sword with that origin would rust away.
