A lot manga adaptations of Light Novels are advertisement of the source material. Many of them don't even continue past where the anime adaptations leave off.

I WISH most manga adaptations of LN's adapted the WHOLE story. Most actually stop part way through. There are exceptions, obviously, but partial adaptations are MUCH more common, unfortunately. Same with anime adaptations of LN's...
