I never thought Musan would last this long honestly I’m quiet surprised, with his character development I thought he would have died somewhere in the story cause back then when I read the Novel due to many translations errors and stuff from machine translated or raw google translations His name was translated as Wooden Falcon and I never saw that name again so I thought he had died somewhere in the story, Afterall when he was first introduce he was only known to be a Fiance to Ji Yue now he is a descendent of the Spear family one of the 3 big families that were well known in the human lands. To think he would be a good ally and come this far helping everyone beat the True Enemies of the story

I never thought Musan would last thing long honestly I’m quiet surprised, with his character development I thought he would have died somewhere in the story cause back then when I read the Novel due to many translations errors and stuff from machine translated or raw google translations His name was translated as Wooden Falcon and I never saw that name again so I thought he had died somewhere in the story, Afterall when he was first introduce he was only known to be a Fiance to Ji Yue now he is a descendent of the Spear family one of the 3 big families that were well known in the human lands. I feel like if it's been going on for this many chapters(the only title I could compare this to is Fei Ren Zai, aka Non-human, but that's like several years late on MD), it can go for at least 40 more chapters

I also assume the Keer plot-line will come back into play

Devourer can regenerate and create new bodies as said by Sin Lord when he tried to abandon his body to escape Bai Ji attack and not die. Bai Ji has multiple bodies afterall Bai Jin & Bai Ji. If it still exist consider what happened that time when Bai Jin was stabbed by Lilith/Kerr

It probably cause Sin Lord has been hyped up as the Main Antagonist of the story for hundred of chapters now since the beginning with you first seeing the Chaos Cult or something with the High priest and Medicine guy with the first ever Villain of the arc being the Knight Guy who got power beyond human due to getting power from that cult and then their the Story lore about him being the one to manipulate every single race to band against each other or somewhat band up to destroy the Blood Spirit Empire Race aka sore discord & chaos then later coming to take over the continent himself but was defeated by the Dark Knight that gave Ji Bai the Blue sword that can destroy godly beings. Unlike Muxing/Elf Queen/Twilight Star which only appear later in the story with Chestnut death chapter since at first we didn’t know much about the Elves, we only know that they were cunning and had flee Baland long ago and only are starting to secretly come back to blend in with Human Society. So Muxing is kinda like a Random Secret villain after the Hype Up Final Boss with not much background other than being someone who has been carefully planning her conquering of Baland and meeting her enemy fight themselves just like Sin Lord himself
