That BS sheer cold with 100% accuracy, meaning Lapras is 70 level higher than Snorlax

well they mention her acc is 65%, so her Lapras is at least 35 level highers than their opponents, we can say maybe it's on the 70s or even 80, kinda crazy though, but we do know Snorlax is lvl 48, so we kinda need a busted Lapras to at least pull a 50% sheer cold, also Lapras is Lorelei's ace so now I do wonder what will she do next, will it change for Dewgong and Cloyster for the match to go for long and Red getting a comeback.

Based on this then I think the angle this is going is that Red's Pikachu is a Partner Pikachu analogue, can't evolve, increased stats seem specific to that. Obviously there's still the option for Light ball being added too, especially given items are added here, but the big thing beyond that is it means we may see it's 'special thing' be the Pika Papow friendship empowered super move above thunder and only slightly below volt tackle without the recoil at max friendship levels (Which can be flavored as boosted further in story with their narrative bond).

It has a few other moves too, though considerably less than the partner Eevee which has one for every type it can't evolve into anymore on top of it's own Normal super move. A surfing water one, a baloon flying one, though both those have sillier names that might not be worth bringing here. Zippy Zap could work though as an interesting faster always criting move though.

Werid it doesn't have more moves ot match partner Eevee's giant special move list though, a psychic one could alude to it's alohan Raichu one, obviously Iron for Iron tail that's become something of a signature, and probably a normal move on top, and maybe a few more to match. Can't be fighting since none of Eevee's give it type advantage over the partner Pikachu, but ground could work, similar ghost since Eevee does get an electric one.

The "Pikachu has reached its limit and can't evolve because it might die" angle is very interesting. Since Mega Evo is a thing here, I wonder if Seijun will introduce Z-Moves or G-Max or not, as those are ways to improve Pikachu's ceilling without having to evolve...(I'm not sure if Red has a Light Ball or not).
Red finally gets to battle after such a long time! Not a good start for him, but I'm sure the GOAT will overcome Lorelei in style! I'm hoping Charizard will be key to this battle alongside Pikachu.

Might just straight up pull a greninja and do a pikachu battle bond or something, i always thought it was wild in the anime that ash never had one with pikachu, like, excuse me? The guy you've been with the entire time? Your number 2? No battle bond for him?

we already got introduced to Z-moves in the Agatha fight, she did it with her Alolan Marowak, but kinda difficult to pull with the need for the material for it to arrive to him, I could see him getting the Light Ball and that item helping pikachu's cheeks problem and working kinda as a cure... or we get a crazy appearance of the Shuckle trainer with his mystery medicine, that helped an Ampharos so it would even tie for the gold series, specially since it's an electric pokemon problem there.
