Well first of all Hana isn't a living embodiment of cuckbait. They also just sort of don't really have any major personality traits in common. Finally, parenthood is different for everyone.

P. 10 - Somehow, Hana appearing with more realistic proportions looks pretty good here. I personally empathize with those who critique Hana's stylized, top-heavy, thin-trunk design (sugoi dekai) as gooner bait, so seeing her with more realistic (yet still tastefully voluptuous) proportions makes it feel like the design is catching up to the actual nuance that she possesses as a character.

So, it looks like we're gonna have a break and then a part 2? My my, author is really aiming high...
I really hope we get to see the subplot romance of Kiri resolve itself...personally I am still rooting for him to end up with his childhood friend and for Ami and Sakaki to get together.
I really can't shake the feeling that Kiri's old classmate is the one who Sakaki's in a arranged marriage with.....

Interested in seeing what direction the author takes it in part 2. Will it focus back on Uzaki and Sakurai or become even more of an ensemble cast manga. I've no problem with either as long as the manga remains entertaining. There are some interesting threads I would enjoy being followed up like the Uzaki brother's relationship with that girl from his past. The author really hasn't done much with that one and the girl seems like she might be a laid back version of Usaki.

I think we hit the limits of what you can do with these characters in this setting a while ago, so while I would have been happy to see the series progress to a conclusion, the next best thing is making a big change. I expect part 2 to be about their married-with-kids life.

I actually agree with some of the comments that the manga is getting a bit stale, so separating this into parts is a surprisingly good way to work out how to move on from here
I think more romcom should do this in the future
