i'm not opposed to Zect having a redemption, it's kind of a refreshing take on the usual trope of the unredeemable evil guy that's an asshole just for being one.

This guy got whooped, touched rock bottom, almost died together with his bitches, said bitches left him and instead of the usual "it's all MC fault i hate you"-anakin style emo rage he had the realization of "wait, am i the bad guy?" before it got to be too late and someone died-died.

The ones i can't stand are the 3 bitches, that went through the same hell and are still entitled shits -worst, as they're spineless shits-

At the end of the day, Zect is the former leader of the hero's party, so his skills and power are way above average. Zect's redemption arc feels like a mix of being pardoned and rewarded, sprinkled with some slow-life elements later on
