Why in every single recent manga & anime series dragons' only purpose is to be slain?
Seriously - stop use a dragonslayer trope, why aren't dragons allowed to stay alive?
Why if dragons stay alive they become pets?
Why are dragons' dragon forms so hated by fans and writters that nobody even pays attention on them?

That image trope is always hilarious. Honestly, it mostly comes down to authors wanting an easy "ultimate evil" boss for the hero to beat, or treating dragon girls strictly as a gag/waifu gimmick instead of actual powerful beasts. It's rare to see a series that treats dragons with actual respect anymore...
