...more seriously, apologies for doing the long O sound three different ways - it's a combination of not knowing if the fonts I've used even have the proper character available and of just being kinda lazy. <_< But I did try to pick the version that I felt would make characters' names sound closest to how they're supposed to - so e.g. Otori rather than Ootori (too much like "hoot") or Outori (too much like "owt").

There's the weight difference, for one thing.

There's a quote about fighting someone in a higher weight class in Katsu! (boxing, but still relevant) that's something like a single weight class is hell.

@eightrooks can you add an info page similar to what Sancho Step did for Love Bullet whenever you end up doing ch4? Vol 1 released at the start of October and didn't do particularly well so the series needs all the help it can get

I don't think I'm up to doing anything like they did (I'm just one guy, and my art skills are mostly limited to very slow redraws), but I can give it a go, I guess. I was planning on putting #4 up tonight, but I'll see if I can manage anything for this first.

EDIT: And done. Best I could do at short notice and I did not test those QR codes... I just got the URLs from MD and MAL and ran them through the first site I could see that didn't look like a scam. <_< Any problems, let me know, but still, be aware.

You could maaaybe come up with something related to hazing - definitely don't want to say you're totally wrong, it's a good suggestion - but that'd be a lot of work and it's not really the same thing, IMO. A whole lot of people seem to think of hazing as bad/without any benefit, where tempering is something that's supposed to be really important in making swords, knives, etc. (though I'm no expert). Still, it is just one tiny speech bubble with a single word in katakana, I can't be totally confident what it's "supposed" to mean. A proper translator might go for your idea, who knows?
