No, Rosalia is not smart, it was stupid of her to use the same m.o. on two occasions, the latest with many high profile successive victims, while she's the one benefitting the most from the deaths.

I agree though that assuming Rosalia pulled this trick once already is a bit of a leap, but people wouldn't expect that her adoptive noble mother was just that kind to make an orphan a rich heir. Most people would wonder what's the story there, and now that there's bodies dropping around Rosalia, it's fair to think it happened when she was even more desperate.
