It feels nice to be on vacation from work, even if I'm not using that time to escape this rock I live on. Using the time to study so far hasn't been too bad.

I unfortunately got dragged to church today.
Aside from that suffering, though, I spent a lot of money yesterday, partially for fathers day. I think that it was money well spent, at least. Hope anyone else who happens to see this had a good day.
My Gunpla came in on Monday, and after a bit of haggling, I managed to get my day off this week back to today, so I can properly satiate my plastic crack addition for a bit. I built one before I went to bed, and I'm building one now.
I'll probably post them later, but if anyone wants to know what they were before I do, one was a black ghost, and the other was a white angel.
I caved and bought more Gunpla a few days ago. I need to satiate my plastic crack addiction again.
Relatedly, I bought Gundam SEED Battle Destiny Remastered. I need more games to bridge the gap between now and when Super Robot Wars Y comes out. Still not a fan of the way how the games look, but I'm just holding out until the next OG title.
If it ever comes out.
Made chicken katsu with my guy Tech Support today. Came out much better than the first time, I have to say. Adding seasoning definitely helped this time around. Even though eating cold chicken katsu isn't nearly as good as eating it off the pan, at least I'll definitely have something to eat when I get home from work for the next few days.
A whole lot of stuff has been happening in regard to the last few things I posted, so I'll keep off that topic for now until I start getting things more sorted. Still gotta redo that Bravern rant that ended up not getting posted, though.
In other news, I've really been enjoying Gundam GQuuuuuuX, much more than G-Witch, actually. I hope it goes on for longer instead of stopping at 12 episodes as they said it would.
Well, something funny happened related to my last few posts.
First off, I never actually mentioned this, but the other girl was someone who I met in a Discord group, as cringe as that is to say. After that whole thing, I was mulling over what I wanted to do, and suddenly, I'm hitting it off a bit with one of my coworkers.
I'm gonna split this into two posts because of the character limit.
Huh, I swear I had a rant about Bravern that I posted a few days ago on here, but I don't see it anymore.
Oh well. Maybe I'll redo it if I feel like it.
Update on my last visible post, then. She said no.
She was very nice about it, though. I gave her a week and I got the answer I expected, but I feel satisfied, at least. First time I've felt like that after a rejection.
The way she said it felt like there was 0.1% chance of her changing her mind, but I'm not gonna hold my breath even if it'd be nice. At least we're still on good terms.
I did something quite silly on Sunday. I admitted to girl I've been talking to for a bit that I was kinda into her. She didn't give me an answer yet, but she didn't tell me no.
I'm gonna bring it up with her again on Sunday if she doesn't say anything before then. As always, hope for the best and prepare for the worst, although I could probably take a no or two.
Wouldn't be the first time I've done something this silly, but I'd like it to be the last.
They finally dropped the Kamen Rider Skull movie online. Gonna try and watch it later.

Honestly, I'm almost tempted to throw some kinda long threads on here like I used to do on Twitter where I'd just let my thoughts out, but I don't think it'd be a good idea on here. The website doesn't quite feel as conducive to it as I'd like it to be, but maybe I'll do short ones every so often like I did a few days ago.

Rather than make a post about how much I hate my goddamn job, I will instead post something else.
God, I love GaoGaiGar. There rarely has been mecha as peak as that since then. Nobuyuki Hiyama is still one of the greatest seiyuu ever, and he needs more roles like that again, I think, although I wonder how well he could do that nowadays. His portrayal of Gai in SRW 30 seemed pretty spot on, but barely missed the mark compared to his prime.
