Regarding the recent... change, let's call it.

Ignoring the fact it's another masterful display of PR by the staff team, I find this change incredibly dumb. Not only is it a basic local and fronted change that can be bypassed with multiple methods, the api (so far) has no limits so... legit no scrapers will be stopped if that's the objective.

It makes me wonder if there's anything deeper behind this change. Muh tin foiled hats.

First con of the year down! Tiring experience as always but got some cool pics with some good cosplayers, and spent waaay too much on manga like always!

Crazy how it's been just about a year from when I joined mangadex.

I remember my first scanlation was from a series I liked, and that had been effectively dropped by the previous scanlator. I only realized after upload the series was kind popular (60 something comments on my first upload... ).

Looking back, there's a hell of a lot of mistakes in there. But better than a lot of peoples first ever, if I must say!
