There are some fairly grim comments, here but I'm actually fairly fascinated by this. The art is awesome and the story seems fairly involved. I'm not madly in love with the MC, but he seems conflicted in ways that seem realistic. I want to see more of this.

This kinda unexpected progress thing seems to be a bit of trend, lately, but it's still refreshing. After all the manga that run for 100+ chapters before anyone admits what everyone already knows, it's nice to witness a little emotional maturity. And in chapter 2, of all places. Now we get to...

I strongly suspect that this is not heading for a happy ending.

This is the most wholesome story involving a spy, an assassin, a state-sponsored-torturer, and a psychic child ever written. This thing is trope-less. I am searching my contacts list for people I can get to read it. They would love me forever.

I love this mangaka's style, and I really like the more mature tone of this story. Everything is just so wholesome and beautiful. No loser-kun, no harem, no clueless, pointless drama. And people make up immediately after being unfairly cross. I suspect I'll be happily reading this for a few years.
